14th ERRA Summer School: Introduction to Energy Regulation


The 14th ERRA Summer School on Introduction to Energy Regulation is being held between June 20-24, 2016 in Budapest, Hungary.

During the course the following broad themes are addressed:

  • Role and Functions of the Regulator
  • Price & Tariff Regulation
  • Competition and regulation in electricity and gas
  • Investment incentives to meet growing electricity demand
  • The interlinks between energy policy and regulation

The Course is attended by 25 participants from the following countries: Bangladesh, Croatia, Ethiopia, Georgia, Hungary, Israel, Mongolia, Poland, Romania, South Africa, The Netherlands, Turkey, Vanuatu.

The course is facilitated by the Regional Centre for Energy Policy Research (REKK), the Course Director is Péter Kaderják – Dierctor at REKK. Course instructors include current and former regulators, market participants and researchers from Austria, Denmark, Lithuania, Turkey.
