Organisational Structure

• Board of Directors; Chief Officers/Executive Committee (5 Commissioners plus Executive Director). The National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners (NARUC) is a non-profit organization. Its members include the governmental agencies (commissions) that are engaged in the regulation of utilities and carriers in the fifty States, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands. NARUC’s member agencies regulate the activities of telecommunications, energy, and water utilities.

• Budget
• NARUC’s annual budget is approved by the Board of Directors, overseen by the Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer, and subject to regular review by the Executive Committee. NARUC’s operating expenses are covered by member dues, grants, and meetings.
