Framework and Issues:
This USAID-supported workshop, co-organized by ERRA and NARUC, will explore analytical techniques and tools to conduct a cost-benefit analysis (CBA) of gas transmission investment projects and plans submitted to national regulatory authorities by utilities.
The two-day workshop will feature presentations and case studies showcasing various regulators’ and TSOs’ experience with cost-benefit analysis of gas infrastructure projects, and it will likewise introduce an Excel-based tool, developed by NARUC’s project adviser, for regulators to use in investment appraisal.
