Webinar Outline
The energy sector regulator’s response to the COVID19 situation sees a continuous need for adjustments and preparing strategies for supporting the exit from the crisis.
Based on an extensive consultation among various energy professionals and thanks to our Member Regulators’ feedback, ERRA is organizing a two-day webinar on COVID-19 implications for the energy sector and related regulatory measures. The webinar will help its participants to better understand the continuous impact of the pandemic for the energy markets (from various market participants’ perspectives) and also to plan an adequate approach towards stabilizing the situation in the domestic energy sector, also in the context of long-term climate challenges.
The targeted insights will include:
- COVID-19 impact on European electricity markets – with special focus on modelling and addressing aspects such as demand, generation technologies, prices and incentives;
- The utility perspective and their recovery plans;
- Policy and regulatory measures undertaken among ERRA Members;
- Case studies presenting short and mid-term COVID-19 effects.
