Evelin Pärn-Lee is the general director of the Competition Authority (www.konkurentsiamet.ee) from the summer of 2022. She has over 25 years of international consulting experience as an attorney and a considerable academic background. She occasionally lectures on competition law at various universities and writes articles related to her research area. She is particularly interested in the points of contact between competition law and innovation. Among others she explores if EU state aid rules indeed contribute to the aim of the EU competition law and policy, which is to protect competition in order to maintain a level playing field in the (digital) single market.
