Ivan FAUCHEUX

Mr Ivan FAUCHEUX, General Engineer at “Corps des Mines”, former student of the Ecole Normale Supérieure and agrégé de mathématiques, was appointed on August 5, 2019 as a member of the college of the Energy Regulation Commission by decision of the President of the Republic. In 2000, he began his career at the Prefecture of the Ile-de-France Region as a project manager where he was responsible for the budgetary monitoring of the State-Regional planning contract and investment support. In 2002, he joined the Ministry of Economy, Finance and Industry as head of the Microelectronics Bureau where he was also responsible for the development and implementation of the competitiveness cluster policy on behalf of the Ministry. In 2006, Ivan FAUCHEUX was appointed deputy director of the transport equipment, energy and eco-industries sectors at the General Directorate for Competitiveness, Industry and Services of the Ministry of the Economy, Industry and Employment. He oversaw the coordination of the industrial sectors and public support for research and development projects, which will result in the establishment of the first ADEME research demonstrator fund in 2008. In 2010, Mr FAUCHEUX joined the Prime Minister's office at the Commissariat général de l'investissement as director of the energy and circular economy programme. In 2018, he joined the General Council for the Economy for expert appraisal and advisory missions in support of public policies, notably on the greening of rail transport and storage solutions for the national electricity system.
