Roland Wojtan is the Director of Gas Portfolio Management at ORLEN. He is an energy markets professional focused on natural gas.
He is an energy markets professional with 14 years of experience in natural gas across portfolio management, procurement, and trading. In his current role at ORLEN, he is responsible for the company’s gas procurement portfolio and its optimisation across pipeline and LNG supply. His scope includes managing all pipeline contracts, including Norwegian Continental Shelf volumes and the company’s own production, as well as pipeline and storage capacity bookings, including long-term Baltic Pipe capacity. He also oversees LNG sourcing, optimising US and Qatar contracts alongside spot cargo deliveries, and manages regasification terminal capacity bookings, including long-term capacity at the Świnoujście and Gdańsk terminals. In addition, he leads the hedging and risk management of the company’s gas portfolio, ensuring disciplined coverage of exposures arising from different contract structures and pricing formulas.
He holds a Master’s degree in Quantitative Methods in Economy from the Warsaw School of Economics.
