Mr. Branislav Kalužný is a Trading Director at Slovenský plynárenský priemysel, a.s. (SPP), the Slovak national energy supplier and a key player in the CEE wholesale and retail energy markets. Branislav joined SPP in 2025 and is responsible for the strategic sourcing and optimization of SPP’s energy portfolio, as well as overseeing speculative trading activities.

With a career deeply rooted in the European natural gas markets, Branislav spent 17 years at Shell Energy Europe as Senior Originator and served as Executive Director of Shell Slovakia. Branislav led a sales team in Slovakia and was responsbile for origination activities across number of Central-Eastern and Northwest European natural gas markets. His extensive professional background uniquely combines trading experience with deep insights into sales, business development, market regulation, and cross-border energy dynamics.
