Emmanuelle Wargon has been President of the French Energy Regulatory Commission (CRE) since 2022 and Chair of the Board of Regulators (BoR) of the EU Agency for the Cooperation of Energy Regulators (ACER) since September 2025.

A graduate of HEC Paris and the École nationale d’administration (ENA), she has held senior leadership roles in both the public and private sectors. She held the position of Secretary General of the Ministries of Social Affairs followed by the role of Delegate for Employment and Vocational Training (2010–2015). She later served as Director of Public Affairs, Communications, and CSR at Danone (2015–2018), before joining the French government as Secretary of State for Ecological Transition and then Minister Delegate for Housing (2018-2022).
