Abdulelah AlShaiee is Vice Governor for Consumer Care at the Saudi Electricity Regulatory Authority (SERA), leading national initiatives to strengthen consumer protection, enhance consumer experience, and accelerate digital transformation across the electricity sector. He brings over 20 years of experience across customer experience, regulatory policy, and operational performance improvement, working with utilities, government stakeholders, and international partners to translate consumer insights into practical regulatory measures.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering and champions proactive, data-driven consumer care through early-warning mechanisms, digital engagement platforms, and end-to-end journey redesign to build trust, transparency, and better outcomes for all consumers.
