In 2008, Dr. Marek Adamec graduated at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the Czech Technical University in Prague with a degree in Economics, Management and Energy Management. He continued his studies as a postgraduate student. In his scientific work, he mainly dealt with the systemic approach to the implementation of modern technologies in the energy sector. He completed his postgraduate studies in 2015.
In his practice, he first worked for Czech Coal, as an analyst in project management support. In the period 2010-2020, he worked in ČEZ as a procurement specialist for nuclear power plant projects, participating in the tender procedure for the supply of the Temelín 3,4 nuclear power plant. Since 2020, he has been working as the head of the economic model department. As part of his responsibilities, he managed the economic evaluation of bids for the nuclear power plant in Dukovany. He currently cooperates on the approval of payment milestones and manages the price assessment process. Furthermore, on behalf of EDUII, he manages the support of the notification process with the EC and prepares the economic model of the new nuclear power plant.
