Rafał Staśkiewicz is Market Manager for Central and Eastern Europe at Nord Pool, overseeing activities in Poland, Czechia, Slovakia and Ukraine. He works closely with market participants across the region, supporting them in operating efficiently in dynamic market conditions. His work draws on strong regulatory expertise, practical knowledge of market and IT systems, and extensive experience in business development. Rafał brings a uniquely broad background that spans public administration, power exchange operations and commercial energy trading.

He began his career at the Polish Ministry of Economics as an analyst in foreign trade and European policy, building a solid foundation in regulation and public administration. He later joined the Polish Power Exchange, where he developed hands‑on experience in electricity and gas markets across both spot and forward segments, working directly with market participants through key periods of sector transformation. Before joining Nord Pool, Rafał worked in the private sector as a Product Manager at an energy trading company, where he was responsible for the full lifecycle of electricity, gas and emissions trading solutions for industrial customers.
