Tahir Kapetanovic is head of system operation at Austrian Power Grid, the TSO of Austria and vice-vhair of ENTSO-E Board. He has over 35 years of experience in electricity transmission and energy markets regulation with active engagement on shaping electricity sector evolution in EU, having worked also in electrical equipment vendor industries and academic research. He is certified system operator of Austrian transmission system and licensed trader on EPEX Spot and EEX power exchanges. He holds PhD, MSc and Dipl.-Ing. in electrical engineering and power systems from Vienna University of Technology and University of Zagreb and Executive MBA from University of Minnesota and Vienna University of Economics and Business.
