Volkan Karahan serves as the Deputy General Manager at YİĞİT AKÜ A.Ş., one of the leading global manufacturers of advanced battery and energy storage technologies.

He has nearly two decades of experience in battery technologies, energy storage systems, and large-scale industrial investments.

Throughout his career, Karahan has led major projects across lithium-ion, lead-acid, and silver-zinc battery platforms, playing a key role in establishing new production lines, strengthening R&D structures, and developing international technology partnerships. He has also been actively involved in the technical coordination of projects conducted with global OEMs.

He has undertaken significant responsibilities in international know-how transfer programs, leading the establishment and commissioning of new production facilities in various countries.

These initiatives have allowed him to contribute strategically to technology development and production scale-up activities.
