At The Global Energy Alliance for People and Planet (GEAPP), Pariphan Uawithya is responsible for driving the Southeast Asia strategy aimed at deploying catalytic capital to accelerate coal transitioning, and catalyse the adoption of battery energy storage systems and distributed renewable energy solutions. GEAPP is a $1 billion organization seeded by The Rockefeller Foundation, IKEA Foundation, and Bezos Earth Fund to address climate change and energy transition in emerging economies.
Prior to GEAPP, he served as the Director of The Rockefeller Foundation's Power and Climate initiative in Asia overseeing India and Myanmar's solar mini grid programs.
