Alexandr has been working for the Czech NRA since 2021 as the head of department that is responsible mainly for the organization of electricity and gas market in the Czech Republic. Before joining the Czech NRA Alexandr has been for many years the head of forecasting and commodity procurement in ČEZ Prodej, the largest energy retail supplier in the Czech Republic. He started his career working for Deloitte and KPMG as senior consultant and manager with the expertise mainly in forecasting and risk management for utilities. Alexandr received his M.S. in Physics at the Charles University in Prague and his Ph.D. in Economics at CERGE-EI in Prague.
