Awele Okigbo is a communications professional with over 25 years of experience raising awareness, building trust, and effecting change for global institutions, including the United Nations, World Bank, US Agency for International Development, UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office, and the Gates Foundation. As a World Bank Senior Communications Consultant, she has led teams to design and implement subsidy reform communications programs. Awele is also the founder and CEO of Credo Advisory, a leading strategic and development communications firm based in Nigeria. She is a Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation Goalkeeper and part of a nominated community of changemakers catalyzing action toward the 17 Global Goals for Sustainable Development.
