Giulia Taromboli is currently a PhD Candidate in Electrical Engineering at the Department of Energy, Politecnico di Milano. She also serves as the techno-economic administrator of CER.ca.MI Solidale ETS, an energy community in Italy co-founded by Politecnico di Milano and the Municipality of Milan.

She holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from Politecnico di Milano.

Her research focuses on the planning and operation of energy communities, long-term decarbonisation strategies for urban districts, and electricity market analysis.
