About ERRA Academy
ERRA began developing energy regulatory education programmes among the first organisations worldwide, taking on a genuinely pioneering role in the field. Since 2001, it has provided regulatory training to close to 5,000 participants from 105 countries and has become recognised as one of the leading organisations in energy regulatory education.
A revised and innovative approach to capacity building frames ERRA’s shift toward a more coherent and modular training framework: from 2026 ERRA offers regulatory training courses in a structured manner under the ERRA Academy brand. The portfolio includes:
- The foundational ERRA Summer School: Introduction to Energy Regulation,
- Track A: Regulation in Energy Transition and
- Track B: Economic Regulation of the Energy Sector.
Each track comprises four modules that progressively build participants’ knowledge and practical capabilities in the most important aspects of energy regulation. Flexibility is ensured: participants can either enrol in individual courses or follow the whole track from begin to end, thereby enabling them to adapt their learning journey to their specific professional needs and career ambitions.
By combining structured learning pathways with flexibility and certification, the ERRA Academy offers a modern, practice-driven, and career-oriented training opportunity.
The comprehensive foundational programme for regulatory newcomers and professionals seeking a structured overview.
From power system fundamentals to future energy systems and decarbonisation pathways.
Economic Regulation of the Energy Sector — from principles of economic regulation to future-proof tariff regulation.
