The 23rd ERRA Annual Conference took place in Bratislava, Slovakia on April 27-28, 2026 and marked the 25th Anniversary of ERRA.
The ERRA Annual Conference brought together national energy regulators, utility leaders, investors, top-tier consultants, and academics for high-level dialogue on the evolving landscape of energy markets. The event fostered strategic discussions and regulatory insights that help shape the future of the sector. The conference overarching theme was Transforming Energy Policies – Adapting Energy Regulation and the agenda analysed both the electricity and gas sectors of today.
The Conference was organised under the patronage of Slovakia’s Prime Minister, the Honorable Robert Fico.
The Energy Regulators Regional Association Workshop on Renewable Collective Self-Consumption and Energy Communities, held on 14 October 2025 and hosted by the Energy Market Regulatory Authority of Türkiye, offered a comprehensive platform to explore how collective energy initiatives can transform power systems towards greater decentralisation, flexibility, and citizen engagement. Regulators and experts from Europe, Africa, and North America discussed how community-based generation and sharing schemes can support decarbonization objectives while maintaining affordability, reliability, and system efficiency.
The 22nd edition of the ERRA Annual Conference convened on May 5-6 in the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre in Muscat, Oman with the key theme of ‘Progressing Energy Transition via Effective Policies and Regulation’.
The objective of ERRA Nuclear Energy Regulatory Forum: The Role of Nuclear Power in the Energy Transition was to provide an introduction to the nuclear energy for a vast ERRA network as well as bridge those ERRA regulators who can already offer their nuclear experiences with those who are currently expecting nuclear roll-out in their countries or anticipate it being an element of their future domestic energy mix.
The ERRA 21st Annual Conference – in 2024 called the Energy Regulators Forum (ERF) – was organised on 15-17 May, 2024 in Bangkok, Thailand. The event was hosted and supported by the Energy Regulatory Commission of Thailand. The Conference was one of three parallel major energy market events running at the same venue: Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre.
