Didier Rebischung has been a member of the Board of Commissioners of the French Energy Regulatory Commission (CRE) since February 2026.
A graduate of École des Mines de Paris, he has nearly 30 years of experience in the European energy sector. He began his career as an engineer specializing in economics. His early professional experience involved economic modeling of gas infrastructure projects in Germany, before returning to France, where he held various operational and managerial positions in local energy companies.
Until February 2026, he served as Deputy Director of Électricité de Strasbourg, in charge of strategy, regulatory affairs, and industrial partnerships. He has also contributed to public energy policy as President of the trade association Uneleg, as a member of the Conseil Supérieur de l’Énergie (French High Council for Energy), and a board member of the Union Française de l’Électricité (UFE, French Electricity Association).
In parallel with his industry roles, he teaches at École des Mines de Paris and is an Associate Professor at the University of Lorraine
