The socio-economic impactsof energy transition in Europe
The quantitative assessment of the socio-economic impacts of energy transition is a precondition to guide policymakers’ agendas in order to ensure a transition “just for all”. For this purpose, TEHA has devised a brand-new econometric model for estimating the socio-economic impacts of energy transition. This model is unique in combining a macro and micro approach, starting from the analysis of 3,745 products/technologies that characterize European industrial production and estimating the effects of energy transition on industrial production and employment at 2030 in the European Union, Italy, Spain and Romania.
