Knocking on the EU’s Door through the Energy Community: Integration of Western Balkans into the Pan-European Energy Market

At a time when EU accession of the Western Balkans returns to the agenda, this report
provides a snapshot of the progress made by the countries of the Western Balkans
towards integration with the European Union in the areas covered by the Energy
Community Treaty. The report presents the latest information on how Energy Community
members are progressing with respect to transposition and implementation
of EU energy law and strives to provide recommendations on future engagement and
cooperation in the energy area towards pan-European energy market integration.
