• Georgia has a solid potential of renewable energy resources (SL 1 1 with its plan moderate utilization, it is possible to build wind, solar, hydro and hybrid (wind solar) power plants with a capacity of thousands of megawatts, fully satisfy the domestic market and realize a solid export.
• In order to realize the mentioned prospects, the development of renewable energy in Georgia should be considered both in the context of the energy security of the country and overcoming the energy crisis in the region.
