Mr. Carl Berglöf serves the Swedish Government as national nuclear new-build coordinator since Feb 2024. Carl has a PhD in reactor physics from the Royal Institute of Technology from 2010. Since 2011 he has served as nuclear industry specialist first at Vattenfall and later at the energy industry association Swedenergy. Carl has for seven years managed the Swedish Atomic Forum and thus represented the Swedish nuclear industry towards the national energy policy sphere and the EU institutions. In 2023 Carl received the Swedish Nuclear Society honorary award due to his communication skills within the field of nuclear energy.
