Jamie Marcos is the Deputy Director of the Division of Analytics and Surveillance of the United States Federal Energy Regulatory Commission’s Office of Enforcement. As Deputy Director, Jamie oversees staff in the Division of Analytics in Surveillance in performing surveillance of the physical natural gas and electric power markets to detect potential manipulation, anticompetitive behavior, and other anomalous activity. Prior to serving as the Deputy Director, Jamie was a legal advisor in the Division of Analytics and Surveillance from 2012 to 2016 and an attorney-advisor in Office of Enforcement’s Division of Investigations from 2007 to 2012, where she conducted numerous investigations into market manipulation and other violations in the natural gas and electric power markets. In 2007, Jamie received her Juris Doctor from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law. She graduated from American University in 2003 with her Bachelor’s degree in International Studies.
