Zsuzsanna Pató is a Senior advisor at RAP with over 10 years of experience working both as a consultant and researcher. At RAP she works on power market design, network regulation, demand response and energy efficiency issues. Before joining RAP in 2018, Dr. Pató worked as a researcher and senior researcher for 12 years at the Regional Center for Energy Policy Research (REKK), a Budapest-based think tank. Her work focused on various aspects of electricity market regulation and energy policy such as energy efficiency policy, renewable energy regulation, smart power networks, power market modelling, and market design.
Dr. Pató earned several postgraduate qualifications, including a master’s degree in economics from the Budapest University of Economics, a master’s in environmental science and policy from Central European University, and a doctorate in international relations from Central European University.
