dr. Zoltán Pék is the head of REMIT Unit at the Hungarian Energy and Public Utility Regulatory Authority. In 2003, he obtained a law degree at the Faculty of Law at ELTE University. In 2018, he completed the Energy Market Economist Specialist postgraduate program at Corvinus University. He has been working at MEKH and its legal predecessor since 2012, where his primary task is to support tasks related to the domestic implementation of REMIT, and since 2018, he has also participated as an analyst in the preparation of MEKH's market monitoring reports. Since 2015, he has been one of the co-chairs of the CEER Wholesale Energy Market Work Stream working group dealing with REMIT-related topics.
