As a writer/editor and multimedia producer, Marilyn draws attention to the story of energy – a resource that shapes societies and directly affects people’s lives. In a dual role, Marilyn advises clients needing communications services while directing EnAct as a non-profit journalistic entity. In both, she strives to ensure content is engaging and informative, thereby empowering individuals, in whatever sphere they operate, to make better decisions in relation to energy. Marilyn believes it is time for everyone to ‘get’ energy – to have access to it; to understand how it is produced and distributed; to grasp its role as the biggest driver of climate change; and to see how it underpins daily life – as well the personal and societal impacts of energy poverty.
