Kate is a Director in the AEMC’s Consumer, Markets and Analytics team. She leads the AEMC's wholesale market and reliability portfolios to drive effective and efficient energy market solutions in the long term interest of consumers.

Her recent work has focused on the future of the national electricity market, ensuring a smooth transition to a market dominated by variable renewable energy and storage. She also sponsored the AEMC’s Integrating Energy Storage Systems into the NEM rule change to better integrate storage and hybrid systems and allow greater participation in the market
