December 11 marks the 25th anniversary of the Energy Regulators Regional Association, this is the date when 15 founding members signed the first ERRA Constitution in Bucharest, Romania in the year 2000. It is a significant milestone that offers a moment for coming together and celebrating.
Over the past quarter of a century, ERRA has played a key role in shaping and advancing energy regulation in Europe and beyond, building strong partnerships among a growing member base, fostering best regulatory practices, and encouraging continuous improvement.
To date ERRA demonstrates the power of collaboration among nations, regulators, and others in the energy sector, as they work together and exchange knowledge, ideas, and expertise to benefit the people they serve.

Celebrations will continue on April 27-28, 2026 in Bratislava, Slovakia with the ERRA member base present for the 23rd Annual Conference of the Association.
