March 2022 regulatory story bases on the bilateral cooperation on regulatory training between the Hungarian Energy and Public Utility Regulatory Authority (MEKH) and the Azerbaijan Energy Regulatory Agency (AERA). The story involves a background information and two independent interviews with Dr Samir Akhundov, Chairman of the Board of AERA and Mr. Pál Ságvári, Vice-President of MEKH for International Affairs, where both gentlemen discuss the context of the cooperation, current regulatory challenges and the importance of supporting each other in the times of energy transition and evolving regulatory responsibilities.
