Traditional tariff structures are increasingly inadequate for modern power systems, which are accommodating increasing shares of renewable energy, electrifying end-users and accommodating distributed energy resources. The ERRA course on electricity tariff design will guide participants through the key principles of modern tariff design – looking beyond cost recovery, cost-reflectivity and economic efficiency – into fairness, capacity tariffs, dynamic tariffs and alternative structures adequate for grids of the future. The course is tailored for regulators, utility planners, consultants, and policymakers aiming to align pricing structures with clean energy goals.
This course is eligible for 5 CER credits. More information on the Certified Energy Regulator (CER).
